New type mask holder

Description

The mask holder was developed by me during my work on a COVID-19 station and has since been filed as a patent application in cooperation with a patent attorney.

With the mask holder, wearing FFP2 masks is much more comfortable, especially when wearing them for longer periods of time and for people wearing glasses.

Advantages compared to the current mask holders or extensions are the tight fit at the back of the head without slipping into the neck and the stepless regulation of the retaining strap length. The mask holder is particularly suitable for masks with ear elastics, but a regulation of the strap length is also possible for many other masks.

It is a mask holder at each end of which there is a quick-release module for holding the ear rubber of the mask, which was previously cut in the middle.
The modules are designed in such a way that the elastics are secured with serrations to prevent them from slipping out when pulled from the side, but still allow easy and quick clamping and unclamping upwards when changing the mask. The mask holder itself is reusable. 
Two mask holders are needed to wear one mask, the upper mask holder has the dimensions of 25 x 1 cm, the lower mask holder 15 x 1 cm, the maximum height is 8 mm.
The connector between the modules is flexible and adapts to the shape of the head.  
The contact pressure of the mask can be regulated during clamping. It can be manufactured at low cost and with low material consumption (approx. 4 g of plastic per mask holder).
Suitable materials include skin-compatible plastics such as PP, PE, ABS and PLA.
