The invention EP2118490 enables a rotary drive which functions hydraulically/mechanically without additional bearing elements or gearing. This means that manufacturing costs can be significantly reduced for different areas of application. Today's standard rotary drives, for example, cost about twice as much on the market for the same size. The production is always feasible with today's common CNC machines. A modification of the CNC machines for manufacturing is not required for this. Applications include steering systems, pinion drives, worm drives, radial swivel elements and their special applications. The market penetration of a new product in the mechanical engineering sector should mean a market share of approx. 5% after 3 years. With a conservative calculation the potential per application amounts to approx. 20,000 units per year. The patents were granted for Europe including nationalization and the USA.
