Description
The biotec AHU-UVC module is a highly effective and compact air disinfection system based on UVC air disinfection, which is protected by a utility model and for which a patent application has been filed.
The biotec AHU-UVC module is installed in central AHU systems such as AHUs with recirculation and/or exhaust air leakage and inactivates more than 99% of all germs. The biotec AHU-UVC module can be installed in the supply air duct of any AHU for retrofitting.
The biotec AHU-UVC module is sold and installed with an inspection door with UVC-absorbing viewing window and electric door lock. A control unit (control monitor) with operating hours counter enables the operation, as well as the monitoring of the system. In addition, online monitoring and connection to the building management system is possible.
The biotec AHU-UVC module is installed in central AHU systems, especially in AHU systems with recirculation and/or exhaust air leakage due to, for example, rotary heat exchangers (heat wheels).
AHU systems with possible use of an AHU-UVC module are operated in large numbers in both public and commercial buildings.
